Brief introduction of college
College of Resources and Environment is one of the most ancient collge in history of CUIT,which can traced back to the establishment of department meteorology in 1979.Our college enroll undergraduate student from 1999 and postgraduate from 2004.There are five disciplines in the college.They are environment engineering,environment science,information science of geography,remote science and technology,survey mapping engineering.And environment engineering and information science of geography are the distinctive major at provincial level.Environment engineering is a pilot major about cultivate excellent engineer of education ministry of China.We have environment science and engineering as the first discipline.
3S accumulation and applied in meteorology as a second discipline.engineer master in environment engineering field .master of agricultral popularization.Environment science is provincial key discipline.We have three platform.They are Air Environmental Modeling and Pollution Controlling Key Laboratory of Sichuan Higher Education Institutes,Water pollution controlling and waste recycling,environment and 3S meterology institute.We also have the lab of environment science and engineering,lab of survey mapping engineering technology.The number of the whole instrument maybe 1000,which worth 13 million yuan. In recent five years,our college undertake NSFC projects,provincial level projects and other projects about 110 items,which worth 12 million yuan.The number of published papers are about 380,which cited by SCI,EI,ISTP about 110.The patents applied for close to 40 and authorized about 6.Eight monographs were published and Won the award about 8 of science and technology of province.
Introduction of discipline
environment science and engineering(academic type)
The discipline have a long-term and sustainable researches in environment information analysis,environment monitoring and evaluation,environment planning and management,water pollution controlling theory and technology,atmospheric pollution controlling and catalysis technology,solid waste recycling,atmospheric environment,which formed distinctive and stable research direction.This discipline aim at cultivating students to have the deepest understanding of the basic theory and major knowledge,by combining curriculum course with science research,and the supervisor is in charge of the whole study.Focusing on enlightening,discussing,participating and other teaching ways.Paving the way for forum,reading report,speech and other series of roads to strengthen the ability of creativity.It is important to improve the scientific research ability of postgraduate students to participate research activities.

Agricultral popularization Master-field of agriculture resources using (Professional degree)
This field aim at cultivating applied and interdisciplinary talents for which should have steady foundation theory and worldwide major knowledge of agriculture can do real problems independently,can undertake technique or management job to have good professional accomplishment for department like agricultral technique researches,applying,creating and popularizing,development of countryside.
