Recently, good news came from the Sichuan Association for Science and Technology Collaborative Innovation: two group standards, namelyApplication Specifications for AI-based Monitoring, Early Warning and Rescue System of Flash Floods and Geohazards(T/SSCIPA 010 - 2025) andApplication Specifications for AI Scene Service System for Capacity Improvement of Grassroots Emergency Management(T/SSCIPA 011 - 2025), have been officially released and shall come into force on September 1, 2025. This marks a new stage for the development of AI-enabled emergency management in Sichuan Province.

In strict compliance with theMeasures for the Administration of Group Standards of Sichuan Association for Science and Technology Collaborative Innovation (for Trial Implementation), these two standards have gone through standardized procedures including project initiation, drafting, public consultation, technical review and approval, and have been rigorously verified by authoritative experts and officially approved by the Secretariat. Focusing on the in-depth application of AI technologies in the prevention and control of flash floods and geohazards as well as grassroots emergency management scenarios, the standards lay a solid normative foundation for the construction, operation and maintenance of relevant systems. They will boost the leap-forward improvement of the intelligent level of emergency management in Sichuan, promote the deep integration of AI and emergency management work, and safeguard the safety bottom line through empowerment by science and technology.
