At 9:30 AM on March 27th, in Meeting Room 225 of Zihuan Building, the Party Committee of the College held an expanded meeting to launch and deploy the education campaign on further implementing the spirit of the Eight-Point Decision on Improving Party and Government Conduct. Present at the meeting were members of the college leadership team, Party Committee members, Party branch secretaries, Party group leaders, and Party member representatives. The meeting was presided over by Li Qu, Secretary of the Party Committee of the College.

First of all, Li Qu led everyone in studying theNotice on Carrying Out an Education Campaign on Further Implementing the Spirit of the Eight-Point Decision on Improving Party and Government Conduct Throughout the Party(hereinafter referred to as the "Notice") issued by the General Office of the CPC Central Committee. The Notice emphasized adhering to focusing on the theme, being concise and pragmatic, not dividing into batches or stages, advancing "learning, inspection, and rectification" in an integrated manner, and integrating the campaign into daily work and routine practices. For learning and discussion, it is required to organize the study of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important discourses on strengthening the Party's work style construction and the spirit of the Eight-Point Decision and its implementation rules, summarize the achievements and experience in thoroughly implementing the spirit of the Eight-Point Decision, enhance understanding and confidence, and unswervingly promote its implementation. For identifying problems, it is necessary to conduct inspections by aligning with standards, fully utilizing channels such as discipline inspection and supervision, inspections and patrols, audit supervision, financial supervision, supervision and inspection, investigation and research, and letters and visits, to comprehensively and in-depth identify problems in implementing the spirit of the Eight-Point Decision and its implementation rules. For centralized rectification, it is required to address whatever problems exist and focus on rectifying prominent issues, rectifying problems promptly upon discovery. For open education, it is necessary to emphasize public participation and accept public supervision; leading cadres at all levels should take the lead in practicing the Party's mass line in the new era, organize Party members and cadres to stand firm in their positions, take responsibility and serve the masses in promoting high-quality development, strengthening grassroots governance, and completing urgent, difficult, dangerous, and arduous tasks, so that the masses can feel and benefit from the campaign.

Subsequently, Li Qu conveyed and provided a detailed interpretation of theImplementation Plan of the Party Committee of Chengdu University of Information Technology on Carrying Out an Education Campaign on Further Implementing the Spirit of the Eight-Point Decision on Improving Party and Government Conduct in the University. In accordance with the university's plan, the Party Committee of the College deployed the education campaign on further implementing the spirit of the Eight-Point Decision for the College of Resources and Environment.

Li Qu put forward requirements for promoting the college's education campaign: raise political standing and fully implement various tasks; focus on the theme, advance "learning, inspection, and rectification" in an integrated manner, and promote the construction of the Party's style, teaching style, and study style; assume the main responsibility, deeply integrate with the central work of the university and the college, and effectively transform the achievements of the education campaign into practical results for accelerating the development of the college.
