On the afternoon of November 21st, Xiong Jian, Member of the Standing Committee of the University Party Committee and Director of the Party Committee Organization Department, delivered a Situation and Policy lecture themed "Securing Victory in the 14th Five-Year Plan and Forging Ahead with Vigor" to undergraduates majoring in Environmental Engineering (Grade 2023) from the College of Resources and Environment in Classroom 2104 of the Airport Campus.

Xiong Jian, drawing on rich and vivid cases, delivered an in-depth explanation from three aspects: the major achievements of China's economic and social development during the 14th Five-Year Plan period, the experience and insights gained from development in this period, and the scientific planning for the 15th Five-Year Plan based on the complex situation. He guided the students to reflect on the reasons behind China's remarkable achievements in various fields during the 14th Five-Year Plan period.
