In order to optimize the work plans of class advisors and further enhance the construction of academic atmosphere and learning situation, the School of Resources and Environment held a class advisor meeting in Room 225 of the Resources and Environment Building on the afternoon of August 30th. Vice Dean Fang Shuhong, department chairs, class advisors, and counselors for the 2023 and 2024 academic years attended the meeting, which was presided over by Vice Dean Fang Shuhong.
Fang Shuhong outlined the key work areas for class advisors this semester and the work arrangements for class advisors of the 2024 freshmen. She required all class advisors to provide guidance to students on various aspects such as the arrangement of college life, interpretation of training programs, analysis of academic atmosphere and learning situation, participation in student competitions and applications for college student innovation and entrepreneurship projects, as well as science popularization activities. Class advisors should tailor their work to the specific situations of students, help them build professional confidence, and foster a positive class atmosphere.
Through this meeting, all class advisors gained a clear understanding of the work priorities for this year. In the next step, the school will continue to strengthen responsibility and accountability, provide policy support for the implementation of class advisors' work, and further promote the construction of class academic atmosphere and learning situation.
