The School of Resources and Environment Held the Publicity Seminar for the 15th "Big Dipper Cup" National Youth Aerospace Science and Technology Experience and Innovation Competition

On the afternoon of April 25, 2024, at 2 pm, the eagerly anticipated publicity seminar for the 15th "Big Dipper Cup" National Youth Aerospace Science and Technology Experience and Innovation Competition was held in Classroom 1603 of the first teaching building on the Airport Campus. The seminar invited Mr. Liu Jinbao, the deputy director of the Science and Technology Department, as well as Professors Chu Yongbin, Zheng Zhong, and Long Yinping. Additionally, students from classes 231 and 232 of the Geographic Information Science major actively participated.

At the seminar, Ms. Wu Xiaojuan introduced the complex content of the "Big Dipper Cup" competition in briefly, providing explanation of the competition rules, past competition situations, and rule reforms. She emphasized the importance of accumulating knowledge and honing skills during the competition process, advocating that success should not be measured solely by rankings, but rather by personal growth and improvement. Participants can effectively enhance their learning abilities, strengthen their strengths, broaden their understanding of the subject, and explore suitable development paths by discovering and improving upon their shortcomings during the preparation process.

The main purpose of this publicity seminar is to inspire students' enthusiasm for participating in the competition, encouraging them to actively engage in various competitions and grow and progress through competition experiences. Every student can discover their own strengths in such academic competitions, constantly improve themselves, and gain growth and improvement through the exploration process.

It is hoped that this seminar is not just a simple event, but an opportunity to ignite students' passion for exploring the field of technology and showcase their talents. Participating in competitions can not only enrich one's personal experience, but also lay a solid foundation for future learning and career development. It is anticipated that every student will achieve more growth and gains in the upcoming competitions.
