Class 211 of Environmental Engineering held a special theme class meeting on employment guidance
2024-06-06 11:23

At 2 PM on June 4th, in Classroom H4212, Liu Chenlong, the class advisor of Environmental Engineering Class 211, organized a special guidance session on postgraduate entrance exams, civil service exams, and employment. He invited Secretary Li Qu from our college as well as three outstanding senior students to provide guidance, answer questions, and address any concerns for all the students in Environmental Engineering Class 211.

Li Qu emphasized the importance of planting seeds of hope and taking rooted actions. She introduced two different paths for students after graduation: further studies and direct employment. For those choosing to further their studies, she explained that the construction of a socialist modern power must adhere to the principles that talent is the primary resource, science and technology are the primary productive forces, and innovation is the primary driving force. She presented the statistics that over 30% of students from the 2017, 2018, and 2019 grades in our college had successfully taken the postgraduate entrance exams, and the pass rate for the 2020 grade exceeded 35%, encouraging students to persist in pursuing further studies. For those opting for direct employment, she explained the current employment situation in China, stressing the need for students to be proactive, take initiative, and pay timely attention to national grassroots and local projects, while recommending QR codes related to employment. Finally, she shared a video to inspire students to plant hope, take action, and strive for better development.

Excellent senior student representatives provided on-site answers to questions about postgraduate entrance exams, civil service exams, and job searching.

All students in the class actively participated in this themed class meeting and gained valuable experience and methods. We believe that with hard work and effort, everyone has a promising future ahead.
