In order to actively promote the development and improve the quality of academic competitions within the college, on the morning of August 30th, the College of Resources and Environment held a discussion meeting on academic competitions in Meeting Room 225 of the Resources and Environment Building. Fang Shuhong, Vice Dean of Teaching, along with department chairs Bian Yuxia, Chu Yongbin, Guo Junyuan, Zhao Miao, Zhang Yang, Liu Jie, Director of the Innovation Laboratory, Fu Yingying, Chief of the Academic Affairs Section, Ding Lu, Chief of the Student Affairs Section, and Wang Xiaoning, Deputy Chief of the Student Affairs Section, attended the meeting. The meeting was presided over by Fang Shuhong, Vice Dean of Teaching.
The meeting discussed ways to promote the development and enhance the quality of academic competitions.
Liu Jie pointed out the current challenges in academic competitions, including low enthusiasm among guiding teachers, the need to improve the quality of submissions, and how to proceed with the work.
Fang Shuhong emphasized the need to continue conducting competition-related work with high standards and strict requirements. She suggested increasing the enthusiasm of guiding teachers, encouraging active participation from the Student Affairs Section to enhance the quality of student submissions, assigning specific responsibility for competition projects to individuals, and focusing on cultivating certain projects.
Through this meeting, all teachers gained a comprehensive and profound understanding of the direction and key points of academic competitions. They expressed their intention to actively promote the development and improve the quality of academic competitions in the future.
